Brandon S. Barnes

Brandon S. Barnes is the Co-Owner and President of 2.0 Group, a Midwest regional, full-service integrated marketing communications agency. An Advertising Designer by trade, Mr. Barnes operates his agency with a detailed creative core and commitment to continued staff development, advancement in technology/services and community involvement.

Previous to developing 2.0 Group, Mr. Barnes combined his talent for graphic design with his passion for serving his native Hoosier state as the Director of Advertising and Creative Services at the Indiana Minority Health Coalition for 11 years. While at IMHC, Mr. Barnes developed Indiana’s first and only minority heath magazine, Lifestyle. Later offering a bilingual magazine, Mr. Barnes assisted in delivering health information to Indiana’s Spanish language communities. As a community leader, Barnes has volunteered his time and talent to numerous not-for-profit and governmental organizations. He was behind the successful statewide seatbelt campaign, “Brothers Keeper” created for the state of Indiana.

He was also successful in developing his own freelance agency, DBB Creative, partnering with a number of community stakeholders. Brandon attended the Herron School of Art with a degree of study in Visual Communications. In addition, certifications in HTML programming, Administering Windows Networks, & VB Scripting have been earned. Continued education includes Adobe ACE Certification (Adobe Certified Expert). Brandon, his wife and son reside in Indianapolis.


Josh A. Randall

Josh Randall brings over 20 years of professional experience to his role as Vice President and Creative Director at 2.0 Group.

Randall began his marketing and advertising career fresh out of the United States Marine Corp. Three days after leaving his base in California; he joined the rank and file of graphic designers at Spec Solution in Indianapolis.

When Internet media began to proliferate, Randall honed his skills in Web and digital media. In 2000, he joined sdAdvertising as Creative Director and expanded agency graphic design services to multimedia and web-based marketing development. He also pulled talent from the areas of public relations and marketing to bolster the agency’s strategic development initiatives.

In 2008, he launched 2.0 Group with partner Brandon Barnes. As a next-generation marketing agency, the firm provides brand development and integrated marketing services that span multiple disciplines and media.

Randall says his focus on marketing strategy is an outgrowth of his military training, where good strategy is critical to achieving successful missions.

A decorated Marine, he was awarded a Bronze Star for his Navy Sea Service deployment; a Kuwait Liberation medal for his tour in Saudi Arabia; a Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Stars; two Navy unit commendations; and the Marine Corp’s Good Conduct medal.
